As far as pacing goes, I planned-and was able to-spend 2 weeks on the first lesson, which has some foundational material, such as the Spanish alphabet, that beginning students need to grasp as “building blocks” for future studies. I’ve found the textbook, its accompanying CDs and its Teachers Guide to be simply phenomenal in helping me plan and execute lessons.
